Love
Hi everyone. I’m Sherry Douglas with Heart-Song. Today I want to leave with you a quote that I
hope you will ponder to see how you can apply it in your life and I will do the same. Eugene
Peterson was an American pastor, author, and poet. In his book, The Hallelujah Banquet, Mr.
Peterson states, “For love is not what we do after we get the other things done, if we have any energy left over. Love is what we do, period. It is not how we work; it is the work.” How does this powerful statement sit with you? What is happening inside of you? What are you experiencing within your heart, gut, and head? Listen again, “For love is not what we do after we get the other things done, if we have any energy left over. Love is what we do, period. It is not how we work; it is
the work.” You’ll also find it posted in the comments. Live the way you want to be
remembered.
