Hi everyone. I’m Sherry Douglas with Heart-Song. On February 21st we posted a video about how to persevere quoting Romans 12:12, “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” If ever, as people of the world watching and experiencing what is happening to the people of Ukraine, this verse brings confidence and endurance. Can we comprehend what they are suffering? Afterall, those of us living in the United States are not having to find ways to get our children out of the country and into a safer place. We’re not sleeping in and school isn’t being held in subways. We’re not enduring bombings and tanks driving through our streets. We’re not experiencing the horrors of war.

However, that’s not to minimize the individual challenges and tribulations you or your loved ones are going through. No, we’re not being invaded by another country, but some of you are fighting battles in which you are grieving. Stay strong, my friends, rejoice in hope, be patient in your tribulation, and stay connected to the Lord through prayer. Thankfully, we can’t comprehend what Ukrainians are going through, but we can make a choice to pray for our brothers and sisters there, as we also pray for those we know fighting their own battles here among us.
