Justice, Love and Humility

Hi everyone. I’m Sherry Douglas with Heart-Song. Determining what is most significant
in life frequently involves looking beyond our success or accomplishments to reflect on
what provides us with life meaning and purpose. During individual trials, being kind to
others, and in moments of reflection, we can begin to sort out those things that truly
touch our hearts. Many come to understand that relationships, spiritual growth, integrity
and love hold much more worth than material possessions or positions we may hold.
We can then align how we live our day-to-day lives with values that last way beyond any
of our situations.
A meaningful reminder is in Micah 6:8. It says: “The Lord has shown you what is good.
He has told you what he requires of you. You must act with JUSTICE. You must love to
show MERCY. And you must be HUMBLE as you live in the sight of your God.” This
verse distinctly outlines what our Lord values—not riches or recognition, but justice,
mercy, and humility. It functions as a compass for assessing how we live, guiding us to
focus on what is good and long-lasting instead of what is simply urgent or trendy. For
those who may not hold tight to Christian faith, JUSTICE, MERCY, AND HUMILITY are
traits that bring beauty to any life.
