Hope
Hi everyone. I’m Sherry Douglas with Heart-Song. We’ve had a week of dealing
with snow - the biggest snowfall we’ve had for a while. As the forecast kept
changing, I lost track of what to expect as far as the amount of snow, but I could
feel the anticipation. Inside I felt like a little kid - and that felt good! We’ve been
walking through a difficult decision lately, so focusing on something of which I
had no control, was wonderful! Watching the snow fall brought peace to my heart
and mind. Having the ground covered in a white blanket is a visual of a new
beginning. And new beginnings can bring hope for your future.
Someone I love dearly recently had the word “hope” inscribed as a tattoo. In
Hebrews 6:19 it says hope is “an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” We all
need secure anchors for our souls as we love others, and ourselves, and make
hard decisions in this difficult world. Live the way you want to be remembered!
