Christmas Tree

Hi everyone. I’m Sherry Douglas with Heart-Song. Our area had high winds last week and our decorated tree in the center of the square was blown down! If you watched the Heart-Song video last week, you know I made an initial assumption that Santa had come to Troy to help decorate our tree. But later, because he changed positions, I could tell that it was the Grinch dressed up as Santa. With the tree falling down some people have accused the Grinch of this bad deed. We all know, though, that the Grinch’s heart has changed and he has taught us a lot about the transformative power of love, forgiveness, and the joy of the Christmas season. Let’s join the Grinch in watching for ways that we can do the same! Let’s bring HOPE, PEACE, JOY, AND LOVE to those who need it most while we anticipate the coming of our newborn King! Merry Christmas!
