2024 Dare to Dream Dollars

Hi everyone! I’m Sherry Douglas with Heart-Song. We have exciting news for you!
Heart-Song just launched Dare to Dream Dollars for 2024! We will provide up to $300
and an Idea Mapping session to a selected applicant to get you started on making your
dream a reality. Do you have an idea in your heart that will impact others? If you do,
apply for this grant! If you don’t, look around you and note what makes your heart beat a
little faster or what needs are there that haven’t been met? Then apply!
Your idea can be as simple or complex as you make it. It can be an original one or you
can choose to join in on an already established program. The award dollars can be
used for supplies, fees, and other expenses to give you a jumpstart!
Some of you may be thinking that you don’t have an idea. We believe everyone can
make a difference in the lives around them. Here are a few questions to encourage you
to dream:
~What need is there in your neighborhood or one nearby?
~What causes, charities, or organizations are close to your heart and why?
~Where do you currently volunteer and what is needed there?
~What people group or specific age group draws you in?
~What skills do you have that others need?
The first time we launched Dare to Dream Dollars, Katie Gascho received the award.
She and her husband, Sam, started their own podcast, “Time to Tell with Sam and
Katie.” The next time the award was granted to Cameron Myers of The Barn Youth
Center in Pleasant Hill, Ohio to update their basketball courts. This year may be your
turn! You can find a link to the application in the comments. It will require answering
questions that will get you started on your Project. This is all about bringing your
“someday” idea into your everyday life! Live the way you want to be remembered.
