Smiles and laughter are universal.
Hi everyone. I’m Sherry Douglas with Heart-Song. Last week we talked about the way we think about challenges and how a shift in our thinking may help us overcome them. Another way to help us work through challenges is to have a sense of humor and to laugh easily and freely. Mark Twain says, “The human race has one really effective weapon, and that is laughter.” No matter where you live or the culture in which you live, smiles and laughter are universal. Everyone relates and responds. Laughter disarms tension and creates bonds between people, which is a huge boost to our relationships. Laughter is also a weapon against physical and emotional illness. We’ve all heard the saying that laughter is the best medicine. It’s true that laughter can enhance your immune system, improve your mood, and relieve the stress of your challenges. And to top it off, laughter is enjoyable and it costs nothing!
This week let’s all pull out our weapons of laughter! Live the way you want to be remembered!
