Move through fear.

Hi everyone. I’m Sherry Douglas with Heart-Song. My husband and I enjoy watching the Cincinnati Reds. The second baseman, Jonathan India was interviewed recently about his latest tattoo. India told the story of opening a bottle of wine with his girlfriend and she handed him the cork with a quote on it, “Move through fear. Climb beyond the darkness.” It touched him so deeply he decided to have it tattooed on his arm. He said, “That means everything in my life. You know you have to move through stuff to get where you want to be – especially a lot of struggles you go through in life and obstacles you go through. It’s the only way you’re going to get to where you want to be.”

In a video I watched, he explained the tattoos on his other arm, also. One was a quote of his father’s, “No stone unturned.” His father wanted him to remember to not have any regrets and to go after everything he wanted in life.

These are all powerful and positive words. Whether you’re a person who likes tattoos or not, what words or phrases do you live by?
