Mapping Process at Heart-Song
Hi everyone. I’m Sherry Douglas with Heart-Song. Each week my intent with a video is to give you something to think about and act upon that helps you be who you want to be. The topic this week is near and dear to my heart – the mapping process at Heart-Song.
There are several different types of mapping sessions available, but we have found it’s essential to start with the foundation of creating a Life Compass Statement. You meet with facilitators who prompt you through friendly conversation. Your Life Compass Statement is created by you, for you. It’s a personal statement that directs the next steps for living your most meaningful life.
If you have already created a Life Compass Statement, you are invited to return for one of these other options:
Life Mapping – create a plan to implement your Life Compass Statement within your everyday life.
Team Mapping – bring your team to maximize impact by creating a guiding statement for your group or organization.
Idea Mapping – create a plan for your particular idea or dream.
Marriage Compass Statement – as an engaged or married couple, create a statement that can guide your marriage.
Family Compass Statement – with your family, create a statement that can guide the day-to-day and long-term journey of being a family.
If you’re thinking mapping sounds a little scary, don’t let that stop you! People often get a little nervous before scheduling and on the day of the session. That’s normal! What they find, though, is that the 1.5 – 2-hour session is comfortable, respectful and fun. You leave with a vital tool to help you progress through life with intention. So, plot your course!
